9.5mm metal ferrule and a 10mm tip
10mm Cue tip – Stanley Blade – Super Glue 100 Grit Sandpaper
Remove what’s left of the old tip with the blade.
DO NOT CUT THE BLACK CORE OFF!
BLACK CORE sand flat with 100 grit sandpaper to remove old glue.
BOTTOM OF CUE TIP sand to remove all chalk with sandpaper till rough.
SUPER GLUE Apply a light coat of glue to both the CORE and BOTTOM of tip.
CUE TIP center on top of the ferrule as best as you can and hold in place for about 60 seconds.
CUE TIP sand the cue tip after the glue has set. Chalk sticks best to a rough surface.
As the ferrule is 9.5mm and the tip is 10mm there will be a slight overhang.
This is quite fine, a lot of snooker pro’s preferred this method.
